  1. WINDOWS SECRETS CD-ROM

  3. To use the "Windows Secrets CD-ROM":
  4.  
  5. 1. Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive, such as D:.
  6.  
  7. 2. In Windows, click Start, Programs, Windows Explorer.
  8.  
  9. 3. In Windows Explorer, run Setup.exe on the D: drive.
  10.  
  11. You can install any of the software programs from the CD 
  12. to your hard disk, using the buttons shown on the opening 
  13. screen.

  15. TO INSTALL A PROGRAM TO YOUR HARD DRIVE:
  16.  
  17. 1. Click a major category button, such as Utilities.
  18.  
  19. 2. Click a sub-category button in the window that appears.
  20.  
  21. 3. Click the name of any program you wish to install.
  22.  
  23. A dialog box will give you an opportunity to select the folder 
  24. in which the software will be installed, or to cancel the 
  25. installation if you wish, before anything is written to your 
  26. hard disk.

  28. Click the "Read Me" button in the CD-ROM's opening screen 
  29. for more detailed information about un-installing programs 
  30. and other topics.
